My first impression is that I was in heaven yet again. If you would list all of the things that went well, one of them happened at the beginning of the camp when they assigned you your dormitories and cabin mates because I was paired up with a great bunch of friends. Also, the boat that we stayed on is a really cool old sort of army/fishing boat that is called the Lord Armory. In the morning, at eight o’clock sharp every day, they did something called ‘colours’ where we would already have to be dressed and just stand there until someone would call “colours sir” and then “make it so“ and then they raised the flag. After that, you would go down to have breakfast and pass the time until the boating activities started.
When the time comes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the mess hall is packed and has a very lively atmosphere, and when the food could have been a bit better I liked it all the same. Similar to that, the tuck shop is stacked from top to bottom, so just before we leave on Sunday, you can get what you want if they let you purchase anything (they haven't let me for two camps now).
The actual activities made me feel over the moon. The boats that we went in were: a sailing boat, a rowing boat, a bellboat, a kayak, a canoe, and then whatever boat we wanted to go in afterwards. It really is the experience of a lifetime when you are in those boats.
